AU [based on “The Lake House” movie]: Dean Winchester needs to clear his mind after seeing young man’s death in a car accident so he decides to move out from his glass house on a lake. He’s maintaining a correspondence with the new owner, Castiel Novak. After some messages, they disclose that Dean is living in 2012 and Cas in 2010 and yet, they end up falling in love, Dean devises a plan to finally meet in his present/Castiel’s future so that they can spend their life together at the same time. But Castiel never shows up on their date. Two years later, Dean figures out why.
“Cas, I know why you didn’t show up that night. It was you, in a car accident. Please, don’t go today on our date. Wait for me. Wait for me two years. Come to the lake house. I’m here.”
“Dean.”
“You waited.”
